Delete your account
Deleting your account takes a minute.
You can delete your Memorafy account whenever you like, from the website or from the app on your phone. Deletion is permanent and happens straight away.
Three ways to delete it
Each one deletes the same account and the same data. Any active Pro subscription is cancelled first.
iPhone and Android
Open Memorafy, go to Settings, tap your account at the top and choose Delete account.
If you can't sign in
Email support@memorafy.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm it's you, then delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
Your synced clips, Stacks, templates and images, your connected devices, your encryption keys, your usage summaries and your profile. They are deleted permanently and cannot be recovered.
What is kept
Billing records, where tax and accounting law requires them, with your identity replaced by a random reference.
Support conversations, in anonymised form, for up to 3 years after they were closed.
If the account used the one-time Pro trial, a protected one-way fingerprint of its email, so the trial cannot be claimed again. It cannot be used to recover your email or your content.
If you redeemed a Pro code, the record that it was used, no longer linked to you, so the code cannot be used twice.
What stays on your devices
Deleting your account does not erase what is stored on your devices. On a computer, use Erase all local data in Memorafy’s Settings. On a phone, delete the app.
Deleting some data, not the account
You don't have to delete your account to remove data. Deleting a clip, Stack or template in Memorafy also deletes it from the cloud and from your other devices.
